Paris based New-Yorker Nikki Diana Marquardt opens her Gallery in 1986 and began her collaboration with Leo Castelli, working with the second generation New York School as well as American minimalists Donald Judd, Dan Flavin and Carl Andre. As well as presenting works by more established names of the Contemporary Art world, Nikki Marquardt has actively used her Gallery to launch fresh talent from France and overseas. Far from a purely speculative approach, her artistic flair and open mind have proved fantastic assets in her efforts to showcase a broad range of art forms. The Nikki Diana Marquardt Gallery is situated in a typically Parisian court-yard of the Marais quarter.
Spreading out under a magnificent skylight this sunny open space of 500m² is used regularly as a
backdrop for films, events and fashion shows.
In 2016 the Gallery enters a new era with its acquisition from Ellia Art Gallery
